My name is Stan Mucinic and I am a licensed nursing home administrator with a master’s degree in both Psychology and in Health Care Administration. I have over 8 years experience in managing skilled nursing facilities. I also have over 15 years experience in the legal field dealing with employment law, litigation, business law and regulatory compliance.
My education and work experience have proven invaluable in developing this unique exam review course which not only covers the substantive content of the licensing exams, but is engineered to address the most common psychological and emotional obstacles encountered by students in studying for the exams.
My legal background has proven invaluable in translating confusing concepts and laws into plain English, and in organizing a program that accelerates learning and comprehension, and promotes long term retention and substantive knowledge of critical concepts and regulatory requirements.
My experience in business law, litigation, employment law, corporate law and regulatory law adds an important and unique dimension and emphasis to the program materials, as I emphasize the importance of understanding the principles and regulatory requirements that nursing homes operate under, and the critical importance of managing the legal liability of a practicing licensed administrator.
My genuine commitment to my students is what sets my unique program apart from any other. My program is designed to mentor my clients and bridge the knowledge and experience gap between what they learned in their internship and college courses and what they need to know to not only pass their licensing exams, but to hit the ground running once they hang their license on the wall in a facility. i give you whatever time you need to learn and develop a substantive understanding of the critical concepts they need to know.
I strive to provide a very individualized program where I can devote the time to get to know each of my clients and work with them on a personal level to understand how their brain processes information and to identify any challenges they are experiencing in learning the information and knowledge they need to know.
An important aspect of my reviews with you, is ascertaining the level of your understanding of these concepts and to make sure that your understanding is correct and that you have confidence in your knowledge of these concepts.
I am committed to your success and career development and would welcome the opportunity to work with you to help you realize your dreams and achieve your goals.
I am also working to develop additional resources to help you find a job and succeed as you move forward. Passing the licensing exams is the short term goal. Getting a job and being prepared to succeed once you start working in the profession is the long term goal. And that is what my program is designed to do to help you achieve.
I have seen too many people pass the exams and then are unable to find a job or cannot keep a job because they are not prepared for the next steps of their career. And I have seen too many talented and bright individuals who have so much to offer this profession unable to pass the licensing exams after one or more attempts and simply give up in frustration.
I designed this program to provide those with a genuine desire to learn the principles and regulatory requirements to manage a nursing home a resource that meets their needs and is structured to learn in the way their brain processes information.
I thank you for your interest in my course and I wish you the very best in your future career. As a licensed administrator, you will have the opportunity to affect the lives of thousands of people who deserve the best care we can provide them.
